Taylor Swift Trial Update, Brett Eldredge, & Kip Moore!

Earlier this week we told you about a trial between Taylor Swift and a former radio host about an alleged sexual assault during a meet and greet back in 2013. Yesterday, Taylor Swift testified in a Denver court saying that she was “completely sure” she was assaulted during a 2013 press photo.

Taylor appeared on the stand for roughly an hour, after her mother Andrea Swift also testified about the alleged incident. Earlier this week the former radio host testified saying he never touched Taylor, he says he may have accidentally touched her rib while she was trying to get in the photo.

A lot of fans are talking about the trial and saying parents need to continue to teach their daughters to stand up for themselves, and to never hide or be ashamed if something like this happens.

Brett Eldredge is up for the Choice Snapchatter award at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, and he knows his competition is pretty steep. He’s up against Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, and DJ Khaled, he says, “It’s like all of these huge Hollywood stars and then Brett Eldredge, you know, this guy that hangs out and goofs off on his Snapchat and you know… So, to be recognized for that is really cool.”

It’s an exciting day for Kip Moore – his debut album “Up All Night” that came out in 2012 recently went Platinum for one million copies sold! That’s the album with “Beer Money”, “Hey Pretty Girl”, and “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck”. Kip says, “there’s not a better feeling as far as when you write something and it’s liked by this many people, this is what you set out to do as a writer, you set out to write hits and write songs that people are going to love, it means that things are working and my career is happening.” Congrats Kip!
