Music City Minute: The Voice, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood

Florida Georgia Line is all-in on the collaboration thing. They've done songs with the Chainsmokers, Nelly, Hailee Steinfeld, the Backstreet Boys, plus their current hit with Bebe Rexha, "Meant to Be".

But according to Tyler Hubbard this is only the beginning. He said, "I think it'd be cool, if we're continuing to get out of the country world and do something out of our box. We've got a lot of respect for Bruno Mars. I think he's amazing.

"Justin Timberlake's amazing. I think we could do something cool together. You know who else is random that I think would be fun to work with is Cardi B. I don't know, that's so random, but I think that'd be cool." So, we will definitely keep you posted.

There's something interesting about hearing Sam Hunt say that he's ready to start a family. Maybe it's because he's made a few "Sexiest Male Country Star" lists. In a recent interview he was asked if he's thinking about having kids. He sure is.

Sam said, "Yeah. I've got more baby fever than my wife. But she's coming around. The past couple of weeks she's brought it up a couple of times." Sam and his wife Hannah Lee have been married a little over a year.

You've probably heard that Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher has officially retired from the NHL, again. He posted some thoughts on Instagram, and it sure sounds like he won't be changing his mind this time around. Mike said, “I’m so grateful for the last 18 years. It’s hard to believe how fast the time goes. I got the chance to play and work with so many incredible people along the way. God taught me some incredible life lessons through the game of hockey over the years and without the gift He gave me none of this would have been possible. Thanks for all the amazing memories! Lastly thanks to my friends and family for supporting me over the years. It’s been a blast!!”

Last night was the season finale of The Voice and it paid off in a big way, Kelly Clarkson’s team won! Brynn Cartelli, a high school freshman from Massachusetts, was crowned champion of “The Voice” Season 14, winning $100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Music Group. She’s the show’s youngest winner ever at 15 years old. She beat out country singer Spensha Baker, soul powerhouse Kyla Jade and folk rocker Britton Buchanan, who was the runner-up. This was her blind audition from the beginning of the show:
