Music City Minute: Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, ACM’s

We always hear Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan giving each other a hard time when it comes to their competing TV shows The Voice and American Idol… and well, just giving each other a hard time in general. Well, in a recent interview Luke Bryan shared that Blake Shelton reached out to him when he first learned of getting his American Idol judging gig:

Luke said, "When the Idol deal went down, Blake sent me a text going, 'Man, so fired up for ya. Nobody deserves a big ole TV opportunity more than you.' Blake's been one of those guys that had to work and scrape for every bit of recognition that he's had."

The new season of American Idol with Luke kicks off March 11th, and the new season of The Voice kicks off this Monday February 26th at 7!

A rumor was going around that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were on the verge of splitting up. Not true. Mike hit up Instagram to clear that up. He wrote, "We've never been better. Thanks."

It may have started when he posted this Bible verse he uses as a "daily reminder." It read, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

I guess people took that as him questioning the marriage? To me, it's more about his decision to un-retire and play one more year in the NHL.
