Music City Minute: Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, & Blake Shelton

Before launching their Las Vegas residency at the Venetian Theatre on Friday Rascal Flatts took the stage to pay tribute to the shooting victims at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on October 1. The trio's Jay DeMarcus began the address by speaking about the confusion, frustration, sadness, pain and anger that everyone's dealing with right now after this tragedy.

While making stops over the weekend on his"2017 Farm Tour," Luke Bryan took some time out his shows to pay tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

During his tour stop in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Thursday, Luke asked his fans to pray for those affected by the shooting and also made a plea for everyone to be cognizant of other people's mental health issues as a way to possibly avoid something terrible happening in the future. Luke said, "Let’s think about being a better country, being better people. You see somebody that’s having trouble up here in their mind, let’s get to working on this stuff, y’all.”

Blake Shelton has been a coach on “The Voice” since 2011. So, it’s safe to say that he knows a thing or two about judging on reality competition shows. When he learned his good friend Luke Bryan got asked to judge on the upcoming “American Idol” – he didn’t hold back with his thoughts.
