Music City Minute: Midland, Jason Aldean, & Blake Shelton

It’s been a crazy year for the guys of Midland, they were just at our Y100 Bud Light 8 Man Jam and blew everyone away. Well turns out they were just as surprised as anyone when their song "Drinkin' Problem" picked up two Grammy nominations earlier this week. It's up for Best Country Song, and for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group.

They were asked what we might expect from their acceptance speech if they happen to win. Lead singer Mark, the tall guy with the brown hair, he said "It would be so emotional. Honestly we would just cry.

Bass player Cameron agreed, "Yeah, Mark would be crying. I'd have to shake him. We'd be hugging and crying and thanking everybody." We’ll keep our fingers crossed and find out if they win January 28th.

Speaking of Midland in case you missed it, they performed their new single "Make A Little" on Monday's "Late Night with Seth Meyers".

Jason Aldean is more than willing to lend his pregnant wife Brittany a hand to make her life easier. And with the birth of their son Memphis expected any day now, Brittany's growing baby bump is making it hard for her to do even some of the most basic tasks. Case in point: the picture Brittany recently shared on Instagram. The photo shows that Jason has now been assigned to shoe-tying duty for Brittany as she says she can no longer reach her feet. Little Memphis is due in December, so baby watch is now in full effect.

Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson are usually in head-to-head competition on The Voice, but the two coaches put their differences aside on Tuesday's show for a special collaborative performance. They teamed up for a cheerful rendition of Blake's current single, "I'll Name The Dogs":

Miley Cyrus also took the stage with her Team Miley contestants during the show, putting their spin on the Shania Twain’s "Man! I Feel Like A Woman.":
