Music City Minute: Another Texas Benefit, Luke Bryan Gives Tickets To Houston First Responders, & Jake Owen Hangs With Fan!

Jake Owen is known for surprising people who post stuff on his Twitter page. And he did it again. Some guy wrote that he wished he could live Jake's life for just one day. Jake saw it, and did one better by inviting him to hang for a whole weekend.

Luke Bryan has been coordinating with the Houston area authorities to make tickets available to members of Hurricane Harvey's first responder teams to attend his upcoming concert in Houston. The concert will take place at the outdoor Cynthia Woods Pavilion on September 22, & Luke will donate the concert proceeds to benefit the Houston Community Fund.
Speaking of Luke he'll be in Austin next Thursday with Brett Eldredge! We'll have tickets at :10 after next week!

On the heel of George Strait’s amazing benefit Tuesday night there’s another one comin’ up! Willie Nelson is teaming up with some of his friends at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin! Willie along with Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Leon Bridges, Lyle Lovett and Edie Brickell & New Bohemians are heading “Harvey Can’t Mess With Texas: A Benefit Concert for Hurricane Harvey Relief,” an all-star event and telethon set for Sept. 22 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.

It looks like tickets to the four-hour concert went on sale yesterday and are already sold out, but let’s be real there’s always a way to get tickets if you really want to go. It will also air live on TEGNA stations.
